Our bookshop is fully stocked with Buddha statues,offering bowls, prayer beads and other items for meditation. There are also lovely gift items such as aromatic candles, soaps and journals. We carry a complete selection of Kadampa Buddhist books and audio recordings by Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, CDs of sung prayers, art prints and cards ready for framing.
The Shop is open 10 am-5 pm weekdays and during courses and special events at weekends. All profits are donated to the International Temples Project.
Tharpa Publications is the international publishing company of the NKT-IKBU and the exclusive publisher of 20 acclaimed Buddhist books by Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Tharpa also produces a wide range of Buddhist audio books and prayer CDs, prayer books, and Buddhist art, which are available online at www.tharpa.com, in popular bookstores such as Borders and Barnes & Noble, and at NKT-IKBU Centers around the world. All the profits from the sale of Tharpa books and products are donated to the International Temples Project and used to build Kadampa Temples around the world.
